I am a student at Goldfields primary. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note.... some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Ice skating poem

 Ice skating
 Falling over,
Warm milo,
Finding skates,
Going fast,
Zooming around,
Puffing everywhere,
Returning skates in bunches.

Ice Skating

"Watch out" I said when Hannah skated in front of me, I was zooming trying to keep up with my friends.  They were going so fast all you could see was a blur.  "Oh well I'll just skate by myself." I thought.  It was very fun skating by myself but not as fun as skating with my friends.  Soon I finally caught up with them but as soon as I got there they were off not as fast that time so I could finally catch up with them.  By the time it was morning tea time  I was very puffed. I had a good time and at the end I just about fell asleep.

Bright star writing

I am a star in writing, spelling and reading. I am a star in writing because I can spell a lot of words and I try my best. I am a star in spelling because I am learning new words every week and I am finding out what the new words mean. I am also a star in reading because I always challenge myself at school. At home I challenge my self even harder because I read challenging books.

Swimming memoir

Splash! I jumped into the pool and started swimming.  After a while  my mum said that I had to swim as many lengths as I could in fifteen minutes.  Then after the fifteen minutes was up I did something called fear factor.  It is swimming under the lane rope, breathing out of your nose, kick as hard as you can but you also have to pull yourself along at the same time.  I was very puffed after I swam all those lengths.  I thought "That was a lot of swimming." Mum said "Good job."

Ray

Ray built us two huts.  One is in the native garden and one is in between two junior classes.
Ray mows the lawns and rakes up all the leaves around the school.
He reminds us to keep our rubbish in our lunch box or in the bin.

Anzac parade

In the holidays I am going to be marching in the ANZAC parade.  I get to go inside the memorial hall and sit on the ground with everybody else that is sitting on the ground.  I get to watch everything that is going on inside the hall.  I will be wearing my ANZAC badge as well as my Dads badge.
